Election Officials
A list of appointed election officials and deputy county clerks hired to conduct Early Voting and Election Day voting can be found in the County Clerk’s Office located at 35 S 6th St, Fort Smith or 11 Town Square, Greenwood in the Sebastian County Courthouses, as well as sebastiancountyar.gov. The list will be available by November 18, 2024. An objection to any individual’s service as an election official shall be made in writing within seven (calendar) days after the posting of the list and submitted to the Sebastian County Election Commission or the County Clerk. That deadline is November 25, 2024.
Ballot Canvassing and Counting
Absentee ballot outer envelopes, voter statements and applications will be opened and processed in the Sebastian County Election Commission at 40 S. 4th St. in Fort Smith beginning on November 26, 2024 and continuing until December 2, 2024. Hours 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
